Our goal is to present the various aspects of God's kingdom in a simplified way that emphasizes God's Moral Attributes, e.g., God is love, that is also consistent with Scripture, true to Reason, and real in life.
Moral Government theology is just a term and is synonymous for what the Bible writers both assume and teach throughout. What is moral government? People are responsible for their actions because they are the authors of their own intentions. There are two basic types of government which God exercises over the universe. One is PHYSICAL government. These are simply laws of science, the law of cause and effect which simply describe the behaviors and states which occur by NECESSITY and not by choice. For instance, the law of gravity describes the actions of a falling object. Its actions are not free, but are necessitated by the force of gravity exerted on it. It is the law of compulsion. So far as the actions and states of our bodies and minds are under a law of necessity, such actions and states are not moral actions, because they are not free. Moral government is the government of free moral action. Moral government administers moral law. It is a law with sanctions attached as MOTIVES. Moral government is ruled by motives for obedience. God has many things in his providence to teach us and to influence us by motives because we have free choice. Without the power to will as we do, our actions and states can have no moral character, they can be neither praiseworthy nor blameworthy. God gives us a conscience, sends circumstances to teach us, gives us the motives of the law and the Gospel by the Holy Spirit as occasions for our responding voluntarily to this guidance from Him. Moral government clearly distinguishes between a motive or an occasion for a choice and a cause for behaviors. Great schism and confusion has arisen because some persons who are bad philosophers wish to confuse an occasion for a cause of behavior. They seem to view all of God's government as being purely physical in its nature while regarding necessary actions and states of mind and body as being blameworthy.

Moral Government Theology is a high level paradigm of understanding the Kingdom of God. Jesus preached the truths of every area of the kingdom of God through the use of parables. Moral Government Theology is a compendium of those truths Jesus taught. They were preached in the First and Second Great Awakenings in America and have since been systemized and expanded by many of its foremost leaders. It is our goal to make those truths accessible to a modern audience in everyday language. It is our belief that when a person understands what Jesus actually taught they will begin to see God in a new light and emerge from the shadows of traditional theology.
